The 14th Annual Guild Design Charrette was hosted at AC Martin. 14 teams of three students competed in a design competition and presented their work to a panel of distinguished jurors. This year’s theme was LA28 OLYMPICS – CREATING WHAT’S NEXT. The challenge was to envision a mass-timber Olympic Pavilion located within the Exposition Park/LA Memorial Coliseum site. With the proximity of these iconic landmarks to USC’s campus, students had a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the site’s context, drawing inspiration for their designs.
