RE=Connect

The project RE=Connect introduces an effective way to redirect and rehabilitate people and space of Downtown LA, the hub of many different social classes. A second plateau connects rooftops, public spaces, and parks on the higher elevation; then into a plaza creates a superblock that reconnect the inhabitants of downtown Los Angeles to all-user-friendly programs and further landscape. RE=Connect redefines the site’s accessibility, walkability, and maintenance of current buildings, infrastructure, and greenery. In regards of sustainability, it focuses on reducing heat island effect and being a water independent environment.
