Misreading as a Model for Reconstruction

The work addresses themes of historic reconstruction in a sensitive urban and political context. At a time when the consciousness and meaning of the past in the urban context is shifting— finding new life in the old formulas of preservation, and understanding reconstruction as an inventive act. This work was originally presented at the 2018 exhibition Nine Constructionists at Van Der Plas Gallery, New York City.
