This proposal provides new primary entry ways to the School of Architecture, while activating outdoor spaces adjacent to Watt Hall for collaboration, study, teaching, and making. Four interior zones can be reconfigured in six different ways, including a main lobby area and spaces for lectures and presentations. Two new stairs connect the second floor of Watt Hall to Bloom Walk, increasing the School’s visibility from campus. This plan provides space for 150% of the current studio’s capacity, while maintaining safe distances between students.
